Kids which likes playing soccer and are members of the school team want their performance in playing to improve. This helps them have more playing time from the coach, play more matches regularly and even contribute more in getting for their club a win. They would become more confident with their improved skills and help get drafter to future school teams.

Achieving this goal could be done by having your kids go into camps where they will be trained and have practices under the supervision of a qualified coach. There are some soccer camps Calgary which are available for your kids to attend to and a reputable one must be chosen. After choosing though, preparing for it is needed specially when this is the first time your child will have.

Get them ready by letting them know the plans on going into the camping area and you could drive them there days before to help them familiarize the surroundings. You can ask the management to have a tour and show them where they would be staying and practicing. Emphasize that nothing important will happen at home that they would miss.

Show confidence on them that they would excel and thrive at camp because doing so helps them be confident too and increase chances of success. They can learn more concerning themselves, meet new people and try new things there. Discuss with them if you both feel nervous and have them understand how excited you feel for them in experiencing new things.

Start packing together early for avoiding stress and in forgetting things so being this task week before the activity. Check the list that the management has provided on what to bring then fill their bag with these slowly and buy those you lack. If this is done earlier then avoiding unhealthy emotions will not be the only advantage but more time is also available in completing the list.

Advise them in bringing something which will help them feel at home and comfortable even when far from your house such as a pillow, photo or stuffed animal. Set goals together concerning what they plan to achieve during camp such as making new friends or improving soccer skills. When you call them there, ask for progress of these goals every time.

Ready your communication plan with them and discuss the expectations that both of you have about these calls. You are given numerous opportunities in checking up on them while avoiding to jeopardize their camp experience. Make your conversations short so they will be able to get back in making new friends again.

Encourage them to make new friends as plenty as possible with other campers because some are from different countries and states. They could learn more regarding the lives and the experience in soccer that other campers have which helps them in connecting with various kinds of people too. Encourage to keep ways on contacting their new found friends.

Get your child and yourself an early sleep the night before so you will arrive at the venue with great attitude and excitement. Make plans for dinner or something to do with them after the camp. This would be a great opportunity to allow your child share all their accomplishments and memories.
